Level 3 Discounts

If you are 19 – 23 and do not have a full level 3 qualification then you may be eligible for free tuition fees but you will need to pay Examination and/or material fees if required.

To qualify:

  • You must be 19 – 23 (23 when the course starts)

  • You must be ordinarily resident in the UK, EU or EEA for 3 years preceding the relevant start date of the course.

  • You must not have any of the following qualifications:

    • NVQs at Level 3

    • One or more A-levels, including vocational A-levels

    • One or more A-level double awards

    • Access to HE certificate (regulated by QAA)

    • OCR National Diplomas and Extended National Diplomas

    • Edexcel National Certificates and National Diplomas

    • BTEC National Certificates and National Diplomas

    • Ordinary National Certificates or Diplomas (ONC/OND)

    • International Baccalaureate. or higher level qualifications such as HNC/HND or degrees

  • The qualification you intend to study is on the approved list of full Level 3 qualifications the College is offering that qualify for free tuition fees.

When you enrol you will be required to sign a declaration to confirm your eligibility for this concession. Further guidance is available from centre Information, Advice & Guidance (IAG) teams.

You are still required to complete and sign where necessary all sections of the Kensington and Chelsea College enrolment form.

Level 3 courses are no longer funded for learners aged 24+ but Advanced Learning Loans maybe available. Learners aged 19-23 at the start of their course may be entitled to full tuition fee discount as above where the course is eligible, but in all other cases, learners will either have to pay for their course either directly to the College, or apply for an Advanced Learning Loan.
