Glass Making

KEY INFO

We offer a large range of kiln Formed Glass and Architectural Stained Glass courses in London at the Kensington Centre.

The following courses are part-time. If you have more time to study and feel you could enrol on a more substantial glass course please look under Art and Design Qualifications courses.

We have designed our courses to inspire and challenge you and develop your glass knowledge, skills and practice.

Our practical approach will develop your confidence, creativity and imagination. You will be encouraged and supported to find your own individual identity as designers and makers, whether you are planning a career in glass or simply enjoying learning your craft.

Past students have been winners in the glass category of the V & A’s ‘Inspired By‘ competition as well as the architectural glass Stevens’ Competition. Students are encouraged to participate as this is a very useful stepping stone for careers in the glass contemporary practice or progression to university.

Our workshops are well-equipped with Kiln Formed Glass and Stained Glass facilities including a variety of kilns, decorative and cold glass working machinery, including sand blasting cabinet, diamond drill, grinders and linisher with all grade bands.

Our experienced team of lecturers are all practising and exhibiting their work, and also have professional teaching qualifications. They will give you plenty of support and you will benefit from learning within a friendly adult environment.
