  You have never learnt the language before. You have some 'rusty' knowledge and want to return to beginners level. You are able to communicate basic everyday needs e.g. give personal information, order a meal, deal with simple shopping, and give and understand directions. You are able to deal with a range of everyday situations confidently. you can talk about what you have done and what you are going to do. You can express feelings and opinions and discuss topics of personal interest. You can manipulate tenses at a more complex level. You have a good command of the language, a solid grammar foundation and are able to discuss contemporary issues at a very high level.
