City & Guilds Award in Education and Training (11 session)
Those with little or no previous experience will gain the confidence, knowledge and ability to teach in their chosen subject. Level 3.
Paid or voluntary teaching e.g. at colleges, school sixth forms, prison education, etc
Progression to the Canterbury Christ Church University Diploma in Education & Training.
The Canterbury Christ Church University Diploma in Education & Training
A two-year part-time course at level 4 & 5 leading to a recognised full teaching qualification. Those with a degree or higher may opt to do the PGCE pathway in the second year. 100 teaching hours over the two years are required.
Qualified Teacher Learning & Skills status which permits holders to also teach in schools (below 16 years of age).
