Jewellery and Silversmithing (Part Time) Courses

Jewellery and Silversmithing (Part Time) Courses

For more substantial courses please look under "ceramic, jewellery and glass".

The Jewellery section offers a variety of programmes; whether you are new to the subject or planning to set up your own business as a jewellery designer, we have a course to suit you.

Our team of lecturers are all professional jewellers as well as experienced, qualified tutors who have expertise in a wide variety of techniques. The section has close links with industry and students will have the opportunity to meet with suppliers of tools and materials as well as professionals in the trade.

You will be taught in our well equipped, large and airy workshop with excellent light.

A limited stock of non-precious metals and basic tools can be purchased in the workshop. Working in precious metals and semi precious stones is optional but if the student chooses to do so, these must be supplied by the individual. This will require some time spent outside course hours.

There will be an additional studio fee (proportionate to the hours you attend) to cover the cost of shared materials.
