Following a recent press announcement by the Government, prospective learners on inactive (as well as active) benefits may now be eligible for free tuition. Active / Inactive Benefits explained

* Tuition is free, however a small fee (capped at £50) will be payable to cover registration, exams and materials costs.

In addition we are running the following fee discounts and free programmes to help make our courses more affordable.

These include:

  • Full concession fee is now capped at a maximum of £50. This is NOW for students on inactive as well as active benefits.
  • Concession fees (£50) available for studying their first full level 2 qualification and first Level 3 (restrictions apply).
  • Up to 25% discount for 'Off peak' courses.
  • A range of free vocational courses in partnership with Job centre plus for people in receipt of Job Seekers Allowance or Employment Support Allowance.
  • A new bursary scheme to replace Educational Maintenance Allowance (EMA) in helping support 16-19 from low income households during their studies.
  • 25% off your first enrolment onto a course this academic year*. Terms apply, please contact one of our centres to find out if you're eligible.

How do I know if a course discount is available? - Look for the 'red circle' symbol next to the course title.

In addition, our Learner Support Fund can also help with child care and travel. Plus, courses are free for anyone under the age of 19. If you are interested in applying for financial help please contact us for further information...
