English for Speakers of Other Languages Courses
Do you want to improve your English language skills? Would you like to gain a national ESOL Skills for Life qualification? ESOL courses are for adults of all ages (16+) who want to improve their English language skills in order to get a job or continue studying. Courses run in the morning, afternoon or evening at Wornington (close to Ladbroke grove, home to the famous Notting Hill Carnival), Hortensia (just off the Kings Road) and at some off-site venues.
If you speak English as a second language and you have a low income, or are married to a low paid worker, you may be able to get help with fees from the college. Please ask at ESOL Advice and Guidance.
ESOL classes are very popular and September enrolment gets very busy. We are sorry but we cannot guarantee to see everyone who turns up on particularly busy days and you may be asked to return to a later enrolment session. Please be patient. It will save time if you remember to bring your identification (ID), your certificates or proof of passing examinations, your money or recent proof of being on benefit and a pen.
