Art Exhibition: On Reflection
Offenders studying art as part of their rehabilitation at Wandsworth Prison are being given a chance to debut their work in a public exhibition.
Entitled 'On Reflection'
the exhibition brings together an eclectic collection of art containing oil paintings and drawings, and is being hosted at St Georges Hospital in Tooting.
The art work was produced under an educational programme run at the prison via Kensington and Chelsea College, and is aimed at rehabilitating prisoners and reducing the risk of re-offending.
The free exhibition runs from September 21 to October 7, 2011 and takes place on the Lanesborough Wing First Floor Restaurant of St George's Hospital.
The collection can be seen everyday between 7.30am and 7.45pm, with a special private viewing held at the hospital on Tuesday September 20, from 5.30pm.
