Student stylists from Kensington and Chelsea College bagged exclusive prizes and job opportunities recently after impressing industry experts with a series of avant-garde makeovers.
Inspired by the elements, the dramatic earth, wind, water and fire themed looks were created by graduating Level 1, 2 and 3 Hair and Beauty students.

Jobs, Advice and Training Fair 2010
Kensington and Chelsea College, working in partnership with The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, Connexions and Jobcentre Plus, hosted one of the largest training and job fairs of its kind to be found locally.
The Jobs, Advice and Training Fair attracted hundreds of visitors. Activities throughout the day included a college run workshop on CV and Interview Skills and presentations from industry experts in addition to an array of exhibitors including employers and training providers.

Dance and Drama - Bright Beginnings
A creative production staged by Kensington and Chelsea College students took to the roads for a mini-tour recently. 'Bright Beginnings' brought together an eclectic collection of 14 original pieces produced by dance and drama students. Using the back drop of dance and drama the production explored a range of hard-hitting social topics about relationships, gun-crime and abuse.

Learner Achievement Awards 2010
Kensington and Chelsea College's 2010 Learner Achievement Awards saw 19 students bag a series of top accolades in front of proud family, friends and tutors. After performances by the college's dance students, the award winners collected their certificate and prize from the Deputy Mayor of The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, Maighread Condon-Simmonds.
