Powers To advise and monitor. All recommendations to be taken to the next meeting of the Corporation. LSO AOG (Article 5)
Membership The Corporation Chair, the Principal the Vice-Chair and two persons who shall be members of the Board.

The Committee can co-opt non-Members to serve on the Committee.

Chair A Corporation member elected by the Committee members annually. LSO
In attendance By specific invitation.
Quorum Three LSO
Frequency As necessary, at least annually to review procedures.
Agenda Standing Items Apologies, Minutes of last Meeting and Matters Arising.
Agenda and Papers circulated by The Clerk to the Corporation

Not later than seven days before the meeting.

The Committee shall be serviced by the Clerk to the Corporation or an approved deputy.
Terms of Reference
  1. The Committee shall be responsible for nominating candidates for the approval of the Corporation to fill vacancies, and for determining the process.
  2. The Committee shall, from time to time, consider and make recommendations to the Corporation on the Corporation’s composition and balance, and on the procedures for appointment to the Corporation.
  3. The Committee shall develop and recommend to the Corporation policies and procedures for the induction, appraisal and governance development of Corporation members.
The Committee shall have the power to employ the services of such external advisers as they deem necessary to fulfil their responsibilities.
