    Level E

    Qualification

    This course covers reading, writing, listening and speaking. Grammar is taught in an integrated way. The emphasis is on the communicative method of learning. Formal instruction, pair/group work, listening, reading and comprehension exercises, role plays, games, discussions and tutorials are all part of the course. Use is also made of video, internet and audio tapes. The exam board is ABC. Mock exams are held throughout the course.

    Qualification

    This course is for beginners who wish to learn standard Arabic and have done ABC Entry Level or 60 hours of an equivalent course and are interested in gaining a qualification. The course covers reading, writing, listening and speaking. Grammar is taught in an integrated way. The emphasis is on the communicative method of learning. Formal instruction, pair/group work, listening, reading and comprehension exercises, role plays, games, discussions and tutorials are all part of the course. Use is also made of video, satellite broadcasts and audio tapes. The exam board is ABC.

    Qualification

    This course is for you if you have finished successfully our Introduction to Arabic course or have an equivalent prior knowledge of the language, (20-30 hours of tuition). This course is practical and covers the skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing. Teaching methods include formal instruction, pair/group work, role-plays, games, discussions and tutorials. Video and audio tapes are also used. At this level the exam is an assessment of all four skills in practical situations.

Video and audio tapes are also used. This course is for you if you are a total beginner and wish to enrol for one term initially with the opportunity to continue with Part 2 in January.
