During the course you will learn to communicate in a number of basic situations, relate and use a range of grammatical structures required to communicate effectively and recognise some cultural aspects of the Japanese way of life and identify the procedures involved.

    This course is lively and communicative! It is designed to improve your skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. Teaching methods include: formal instruction, pair and group work, role-plays, games, discussions and tutorials. Video and audio tapes are also used. If you have completed the Japanese for beginners course which started last September, or any equivalent experience around 40 hours of studying the language then this is the course for you. Upon completion you can join an intermediate course the following year.
