  • Final Cut Pro: BTEC Level 1 Award in Interactive Media ( 11MFM005 )

    Level 1

    Qualification

    Final Cut Pro is the professional’s choice for video post-production and is currently being used by TV companies like ITV and also to edit a range of box office feature films. You will learn a range of editing techniques that will include: creating stunning effects and transitions, adding high quality sound to video images and manipulating clips in a variety of ways. This course is taught using Apple Mac computers.

    Level 3

    Qualification

    This full-time course covers multimedia production techniques using photography, digital video, graphic design, documentary, animation, music promotion, motion graphics, video/sound post production and web design. All subjects are taught within the context of professional practice and reinforced with visits to galleries/design studios. This course could lead to university or employment.

    Qualification

    This full-time course covers multimedia production techniques using digital video cameras, digital editing software, animation sequencing, audio production and sound effects for film. Whilst studying on the course students will learn and explore the creative media sector and conduct research for media projects. Successful students may progress to level 3 courses.
