Web Design Courses

Kensington and Chelsea College offer an exciting range of Web Design courses to cater for the beginner or intermediate student. Learners will have the opportunity to study and use Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Fireworks and Flash CS to develop and build a website.

For the study of courses it is recommended that students purchase a small hard drive or 8 gigabyte USB memory stick/flash drive to backup important coursework. Courses take place in purpose built Apple Mac computer suites using industry standard software. On completion of short courses students may progress to our level 3 Graphic Design course programmes.

    Qualification

    This course will focus on Dreamweaver and Flash CS5 software, which are both industry-standard programs for building websites. This comprehensive course covers subjects such as basic HTML and CSS, layout, navigation and how to get your site online. Photoshop and Fireworks will be used to create galleries, logos and to prepare photographs for your site. Please note that this course focuses on the basic tools of Dreamweaver and Flash basics for importing, creating and editing vector graphics and working with text, as well as creating animations.
