Big hearted Kensington and Chelsea College students raised £200 for charity by selling tasty treats in support of a national fundraiser.
The childcare students raised the funds by selling home-made and store bought cakes at the college for Macmillan Cancer Support’s National Coffee Morning, which took place at the end of September.
‘The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’, the event encouraged people across the UK to host coffee sessions to raise money for the charity.
Childcare tutor Tracie Fryer-Kanssen, who helped organise the event, said:
‘I’m really proud of the students’ efforts, and would like to thank everyone who contributed to helping us raise funds for Macmillan. It was a really lovely atmosphere, and great to see new students from different courses mingling and making friends at the cake sale.’
