College praises high-achieving students with results on the up

Kensington and Chelsea College has been celebrating some excellent news regarding achievement rates for its students in 2017.  There are several highlights:-

Across all ages and levels:
• Achievement rate 88.7% (London average 84.9%, national average 84.4%)
• The College was 4th in London (out of 24), and 24th nationally (out of 202)

For age 16-18, all levels:
• Achievement rate 86.9% (London average 79.7%, national average 81.5%)
The College was 1st in London, 25th nationally

For age 19+, all levels:
• Achievement rate 89% (London average 88.3%, national average 87.9%)
• The College was 9th in London, 62th nationally

GCSE English high grades, all ages:
• Achievement rate 45% (London average 23.8%, national average 27.9%)
The College was 1st in London, 19th nationally

A College spokesmen said: “Congratulations to all students and to the staff who helped them achieve these excellent results.  Clearly there is no room for complacency, and we will be working hard to improve these results even further in 2018 and beyond.”
