Kensington and Chelsea College’s Professional Development Sculpture Course 2012 proudly presents GRASP – an exhibition of sculpture and installation
Budding artists from the course have been working away with hammers, chisels and mallets to bring to the exhibition mix, compositions of static images, text, sound and new work of conceptual and emotional reach.
One of the exhibiting artists said:
‘The aim is to stir, move, involve, converse and reach.Through themes and materials as varied as the sculptors in their life experience, this exhibition is one to grasp your attention.’
The exhibition takes place at the college’s Chelsea Centre on Hortensia Road, and runs from May 24 – June 1. A private view is being held on Thursday May 24 from 6 – 8.30pm, along with an artists seminar on Tuesday May 29, 4.30-6.00pm. The gallery is open Monday – Thursday, 9am – 9pm and Friday, 9am – 5pm
