Kensington and Chelsea’ College’s Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) team have once again been given a resounding endorsement for their quality of service to students after being awarded the coveted Matrix Standard.
The Government championed Matrix Standard sets the benchmark for quality for advice and support services provided by organisations.
As part of the college’s commitment to keep hold of its Matrix Standard, the college’s IAG team underwent an inspection in which a Government appointed assessor observed the team interacting with clients, gathered feedback from students, partners and staff and reviewed paperwork and action plans relating to clients seen by the team.
After a tough three days under the spotlight the team were re-awarded the IAG MATRIX Quality Standard Mark for the high-level of service they provide to students seeking careers education Information Advice and Guidance.
The official report praised the team by stating “The IAG team at Kensington and Chelsea College has embraced the concept of continuous improvement and remains committed to providing a high quality service for all its clients. The team members are well qualified. Awareness of the team throughout the college has improved since the last accreditation review and they continue to look for ways to increase still further.”
Wendy Charles-Martin, Learner Services Manager who manages the IAG team at the college, added: “This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of all the IAG team and we are pleased with the positive comments from the assessor. Our communication and growing positive relationship with curriculum and the positive intervention support and commitment we provide to our clients was among the several highlights flagged in the official report.”
