College Tutor Selected To Exhibit At Prestigious Art Exhibition
A Fine Art tutor from Kensington and Chelsea College fought off competition from artists across the country to earn his place in a nationally acclaimed drawing exhibition.
Justin Hibbs, who teaches Foundation Level Fine Art, proved to be among the crème of the artistic crop when his work was chosen to be exhibited at the prestigious Jerwood Drawing Prize Exhibition – the leading and longest running national exhibition dedicated to drawing.
Justin’s work, made by painting directly onto a photographic print, was one of only 70 selected for showcasing from nearly 3000 entries from across the UK.
The selection was made by an esteemed panel of judges made up of Charles Darwent, Art Critic for the Independent on Sunday, Jenni Lomax, Director of the Camden Arts Centre and artist Emma Talbot.
