Kensington and Chelsea College announces that they have been confirmed as preferred provider, subject to contract, for the London North unit of the Offender Learning and Skills Service Phase 3. From 1st October 2009, Kensington and Chelsea College will become the key learning and skills provider at HMPs Holloway and Pentonville and continue to provide at the Belmarsh cluster.
Kensington and Chelsea College already deliver learning and skills at: HMPs Brixton, Belmarsh, Latchmere House, Wandsworth, Wormwood Scrubs, and HM/YOI Feltham. These latest additions will mean that Kensington and Chelsea College, with key partners, becomes the pan London learning and skills provider for all prisons.
Kensington and Chelsea College’s Principal, Mike Jutsum, comments on the news:
