New Students Get A Taste For College Life
New students got a taste of life at Kensington and Chelsea College thanks to a successful student fair.
The fair gave new cohorts the chance to mingle with staff and learn about the support services available to students of the college.
The event took place at the Wornington and Hortensia campuses and was attended by several outside organisations as well as the college’s in-house student support and finance teams.
Among the external organisations at the event were the Metropolitan Police offering advice about personal safety, Virgin Active Sports who gave away free gym trials and Insight, who provided information about the misuse of drugs.
New student Vina Poleon, who enrolled on the college’s Pre-Access Health and Care course, said:
‘I’m having a blast at Kensington and Chelsea College. The fair is a brilliant way to learn about what the college has to offer.
‘I’ve always had an interest in Health and Care but couldn’t take it further until now because of family commitments. I’m really excited to be at the college and having an excellent time so far.
