Kensington and Chelsea College is running unique taster days offering people the chance to sample a range of exciting careers and gain valuable job insight from industry experts.
Experience life as a Graphic Designer, Artist, Fashion Designer, Photographer, Interior Designer and more with “A Day In The Life…” taster days taking place at the college on June 22 (Chelsea Centre), and June 29 (Wornington Centre).
The activity packed tasters offer guests the chance to explore various careers and gain new skills with hands-on practical sessions, as well as offer information, advice and guidance on more than 900 courses. Guests can also gain valuable industry insight and advice about their chosen career path by speaking to expert tutors who still work or are closely connected to the industries they are teaching about.
Through a strong support network for learners, a commitment to affordable learning and teaching which has been rated as Good by Ofsted, the college has regularly been producing high-achieving students.
Recent successes include Millinery student Sophie Beale, who was crowned the next great UK Hat Designer in a national competition run by fashion magazine Grazia, and music students Ruth-Ann St Luce, who was watched by millions as she competed on BBC1 music show
‘The Voice’, and Kayvon Razavi who developed the soundtrack for an Addidas advert currently being aired on TV.
