A show stopping exhibition hosted by Kensington and Chelsea College attracted more than 350 people on its opening night as it brought together designs by some of the UK’s finest creative talent.
Entitled ‘The Collections’, the 10-day exhibition profiled an exclusive range of work produced by students on the college’s Fashion and Millinery courses.
The show acted as platform for emerging trends and cutting edge style and attracted the attention of buyers for leading department stores such as Fenwick.
Millinery student Rachel Drewer who exhibited at the event said: “The exhibition was bold, vibrant and daring. It was a great way to get our work noticed by the public.”
Kensington and Chelsea College’s world renowned Millinery Department has nurtured the talents of gifted milliners such as Justin Smith and students are regularly recognised for their millinery skills at national award ceremonies. The end-of-year millinery and fashion exhibition is widely regarded as THE place to be to find the industry’s next big thing.
