Take your teaching career to the next level with Kensington and Chelsea College’s Diploma In Teaching In The Lifelong Learning Sector (DTLLS).

Our highly sought after DTLLS course, which is run in affiliation with both Canterbury Christ Church University and City & Guilds, gives students the skills, qualification and training to apply for jobs teaching in further, adult or continuing education.

The course, which conforms to the new Government standards for teacher training, includes professional development and course/curriculum design, as well as optional units to address individual subject specialisms.

Successful completion of the full two year diploma will entitle candidates to apply for QTLS (Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills) status.

The popular course has led to many successes for previous students who have managed to secure teaching careers in a variety of institutions, such as sixth form teaching, colleges, secure environments and charities.

The DTLLS course starts on September 26 and runs at the college’s Kensington Centre on Tuesday afternoons from 13:30 to 17:30pm.
