Lady Victoria Borwick, Conservative MP for Kensington made a special trip to Kensington and Chelsea College to meet some of its students ahead of the College’s Open Day.
Lady Victoria visited students and staff at the College’s Kensington Centre on Tuesday October 14th and visited a number of live classes.
As part of her morning visit Lady Victoria was given a private tour of the College’s facilities and had the pleasure of speaking to our Access to Humanities and Interior Design Students about their experience and future aspirations at the College.
When asked about their experience at the College, one student from the College’s Access to Humanities – African & Caribbean Studies class said:
I have to say it’s really the teachers at this College that makes learning so fulfilling. They not only put in class hours but additional after College hours to support us in our learning experience.
The 60 minute visit was led by the College Principal and members of the College’s executive team and governing body, and was joined by Councillor Robert Freeman, Mayor of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.
Lady Borwick, MP, said:
It was a pleasure to meet the students and staff of Kensington College and to find out about the courses on offer. I wish everyone there all the best with their studies.
