Meet The Next Generation Of Design Talent At New Designers 2014
Talented design students from Kensington and Chelsea College will be showcasing cutting edge work in one of the UK’s biggest shows for profiling the design industry’s rising stars.
‘New Designers 2014’ brings together the very best graduating designers from around the country and gives them a platform to showcase their work to industry employers, media and the design hungry public.
This year nine students from the College’s Professional Practice design course will be among the cream of the crop displaying their creative flair at the exhibition.
The works being profiled at New Designers by the College’s design students include stunning jewellery and glass pieces.
Deborah Belli, who is exhibiting her work at the show said:
“This is my first big exhibition. It’s going to be a great experience and the group I am with is brilliant.”
Deborah, who has a degree in Economics, previously worked in the financial sector but gave it up to pursue her love for designing and making jewellery.
“The course at the College is really good. The tutors are very experienced and experts in what they teach.” said Deborah.
“I really enjoy expressing things through my designs and experimenting with different techniques and processes. It’s definitely not a boring career!”
