Vintage Fashion Takes On New Meaning For College Exhibition
A stunning new exhibition at Kensington and Chelsea College transported guests to a bygone era thanks to a vibrant collection of embellished corsets, beautiful bustle dresses and lavish Victorian outfits.
The free exhibition, staged by the college’s talented Period Costume students features 14 full costumes replicating fashions worn in the 18th and 19th century.
The show takes place at the college’s Chelsea Centre, Hortensia Road, SW10 0QS and will be running until Friday February 10th 2012
All of the displayed costumes were also worn and photographed at the Wallace Collection – a historic museum containing one of Europe’s finest collections of work.
