Two tutors and one former student from Kensington and Chelsea College have been selected to show in this year’s Photo Vernissage show at Manege in St Petersburg, Russia. This years theme is flora and fauna. This is a massive show with over 1000 images from Russian and foreign photographers with just a handful of photographers selected from the UK.
Diana Vowles studied Photography within the City and Guilds Programme running at both Wornington and Hortensia and went on to establish herself as a successful freelance photographer. Her particular interest is horse photography and her image of Ivan has been selected for posters, tickets and advanced publicity. Her work can be seen at www.dianavowles.co.uk
Graeme Harris is a tutor at Kensington and Chelsea College. Some of his still life images of plants and flowers are in the show. Graeme took his initial teaching qualification at the college as well and took time out last year to complete a book which is due out in the Autumn. His pictures can be seen at www.graemeharris.com
Bruce Tanner will be showing some pictures from the “Dogs in Wigs” series and will be presenting a master-class in St Petersburg, on “Dogs in Wigs” as well as being booked for press conferences on the work in the show. His work can be seen at www.brucetanner.com
