A giant ant, a collection of London freaks, the four elements falling from the ceiling, a colossal veggie bag are only a few examples of the works presented in Hortensia Gallery’s new art exhibition. Painting, sculpture, drawing, mixed media, video and installation. The show will be a unique opportunity to see the wide range of work produced by 23 emerging artists attending the Professional Development course at Kensington and Chelsea College.
As Anjum Moon, one of the course directors remarks, “The variety of the work, ages nationalities and backgrounds of the artists makes the exhibition even more exciting. Some of them were previously professionals in areas as different as marketing, engineering, architecture…
The private view will take place on Wednesday 30th May, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, at Hortensia Gallery, Kensington and Chelsea College, Hortensia Road, London SW10. The exhibition will be in place until the 7th of June.
The Professional Development course at Kensington and Chelsea College runs two days a week in spacious and well equipped studios in the heart of Chelsea. It is ideal for people who have either just completed their BA or wish to take a new career direction.
