Learn Something New This Summer
Kensington and Chelsea College is running a variety of short courses and one-day workshops to help boost skills in some of the most sought after careers.
The college’s popular Summer School is back by demand, and throughout July will be offering places on a wide selection of subjects including Art and Media, which continues to trend as one of the most popular sectors* in which students want to work.
As well as Art and Media, the college’s Summer School is also hosting classes ranging from Photography, Fashion and Music to Languages, Construction, Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy.
There are more than 40 short courses and workshops to choose from. For something out of the ordinary why not give Stained Glass, Raku Ceramics, iPhonegraphy or Choir Singing a go?
Short courses in basic plumbing, plastering, bricklaying or painting, are also available and guaranteed to save you a few pounds by teaching you how to do it yourself.
Renowned hat designer, Bridget Bailey, will also be hosting a millinery master class showing students specialist techniques using straw and sinamay, as well as flower-making for millinery.
Everyone enrolling on a Summer School programme will automatically be entered into a prize draw to win one of 10 pairs of Paralympic tickets the college is giving away.
