Learning and Skills
Under the Offender Learning and Skills Service, Kensington and Chelsea College delivers learning and skills to offenders in 9 establishments (Belmarsh, Brixton, ISIS, Latchmere House, Feltham, Holloway, Pentonville, Wandsworth & Wormwood Scrubs) and across two probation areas in London, these form part of the college's London Partner Campus.

Kensington and Chelsea College (KCC) provides a learning journey which takes account of the individual learning needs of offenders. By equipping our learners with vocational and functional skills and through sustained partnerships KCC is able to support progression pathways "Through the Gate" and in to the community and into sustainable employment.
The college is committed to achieving a FLEXIBLE FUTURE BUILD. The Directorates aim is to continually review, manage and develop a flexible and wide ranging curriculum which includes soft, functional and vocational based skills, which will enhance the skills set of the learner.
KCC's mission is to be First Class and First Choice.
- In 2006-2007 KCC delivered 87,528 hours of learning and skills across 4 London prisons achieving 4,612 qualifications
- In 2007-2008 KCC delivered 100,309 hours of learning and skills across 4 London prisons achieving 5,423 qualifications
- Since August 2008 up to April 2009 KCC have delivered 94,395 Hours of learning and skills and achieved 5,404 qualifications across 6 London Prisons, having acquired HMPs Belmarsh and Brixton in November 2008 from Lewisham College.
- KCC are currently at 99.4% against our profiled target to date and we aim to meet the 100% target at the end of this contract term.
