Welcome to the department of Performing Arts at Kensington and Chelsea College. Based at the Wornington Centre, London we are a vibrant and creative college with a diverse range of vocational courses in Performing Arts. Our courses focus upon contemporary performance practice, enabling students to engage in dance, music and drama disciplines. We provide an environment for innovative learning delivered by professional artists still working in the industry who beyond its traditional boundaries by bridging the gap between your educational needs and the industry.

Performing Arts courses from September 2010
2 days - Monday and Tuesday

2 Evenings - Monday and Tuesday

4 days - Monday – Thursday
- BTEC Diploma in Performing Arts (Performance) Level 2 (Formerly First Diploma)
- BTEC Diploma in Performing Arts (Dance) Level 2 (Formerly First Diploma)
- BTEC Diploma in Performing Arts Level 3 (Formerly National Certificate)
- BTEC Diploma in Performing Arts (Dance) Level 3 (Formerly National Certificate)
All courses listed above are open to individuals aged 16yrs and above.
Performing Arts Auditions
If you wish to attend the performing arts audition, please apply online and you will be sent an invitation for an audition and interview. Applicants applying for Performing Arts Diploma must come prepared to the audition to perform a contemporary monologue of 1 minute in length. Please wear comfortable clothes that you are able to move in.
Individuals applying for Performing Arts Diploma in dance must bring dance cloths including ballet and Jazz shoes.
All applicants will also sit a written literacy test so please ensure you have a pen and paper. Additionally you will need to bring proof of previous qualifications e.g. GCSEs, 1 passport size photograph and a reference.
