I chose an apprenticeship because I think it's an effective way of learning a trade with hands on work. It's better than sitting in a class room learning about something which you may not even like or find difficult.
Apprenticeships give you a real chance to get to know the trade that you're interested in. I think that my apprenticeship will and has given me many skills that I can use in absolutely any career I choose to pursue in future. I can't wait for the rest of my experience but so far, this has really given me a career goal to look forward to.
