Constanza Restrepo
Constanza Restrepo came to the UK from Columbia to develop her skills as a Designer. She enrolled on the Level 3 National Certificate in Jewellery, Ceramic and Glass.
The ambitious 49-year-old has now landed a place at Middlesex University and hopes to have her own jewellery business in the future. Find out what Constanza has to say about KCC...
Constanza says:
'I picked the course to learn new techniques from tutors who have lots of experience. I love studying at the college because there is always a lot of support available.
The tutors are really nice and always willing to help. If I didn't get a place at university I probably would have selected another course at the college because it's a brilliant place to learn.
What I particularly like is that the college always gets students involved with big gallery exhibitions and competitions like the V&A competition.
This is really good for us as students because when we're involved with galleries we get to learn about all the processes of design including how to exhibit and networking.
I'm really looking forward to going to University now and feel really proud that I have got a place.'
