Se-Young Yoon
Milliner Se-Young Yoon impressed a London audience with her hat collection, shown at Kensington and Chelsea College's fashion show. The glittering catwalk presentation enabled new fashion and millinery designers to demonstrate their talent by showing their final collections - the outcome of a year of hard and dedicated work.
Se-Young, from Korea came to London and after brushing up her English, joined a Higher National Certificate in Millinery. I'd already studied millinery for a year and a half in Korea,
says Se-Young, but I felt opportunities in London were better and wanted to be part of the European fashion scene. I enjoyed the variety of the course and the work with other students – the exchange of ideas was great!
Now back in Korea and working as a bespoke milliner, Se-Young hopes to spread her business all across the world. She says, I'm working harder and harder!
