Summer School - How to Cast from the Body ( 12TAS500 )
Casting from face, hands or feet, discover how to cast directly from the body to create exact plaster replicas. Casting from the body is a remarkably effective process that uses alginate to make a mould or negative form, from which then a plaster copy is made.

This qualification provides learners with an understanding of the skills needed when babysitting. It includes their responsibilities to children they care for, their responsibilities to the parent(s), and accident prevention and fire safety. Students will be in college on Wednesday 17th, Thursday 18th and Friday 19th the first week and the following Monday 22nd and Tuesday 23rd. There is a short written assignment which will be competed during the course.

Summer School - Cubase Intensive Course: Authorised by Steinberg ( 12GMI201 )
If you're new to sequencing and production or just want to brush up or improve on your Cubase skills, KCC is running a 4 day intensive crash course to give you a concise overview of what you need to know to make some serious music with this professional software The course is delivered by Steinberg authorised trainer Bobby Demers and covers all you need to know to work within many different genres of music. We also look at how to record and edit audio so if you're looking at sound engineering or in a band wanting to record your own music this might be the course for you! The production techniques and skills are set out in a logical approach over 4 days working up from the basics of MIDI all the way to basic mastering. The aim is for you to build a track as the course progresses with the final outcome of doing a mix to take away with you on CD or USB stick. No skills are required to do the course but some previous knowledge of music will help you understand and work with the software to a much higher level.
