Continuing your studies at Kensington and Chelsea College is a great investment in your future. But what about the costs? This section has details about our financial support for 16-18s.
Your course is free
All study programmes for learners aged 16-18 are free at Kensington and Chelsea College. This covers your main qualification, any English and Maths you need, and all other tutorial sessions.
There may be some costs associated with your course, for example materials and trips, and you may apply for help with these from our under-19 Bursary (see below)
This is available for help towards essential course costs. What you are entitled to will depend on your circumstances, your household income, the course of study and how far you live from the college
All applications must be printed, completed, dated and signed by the applicant and returned by post. Applicants may not submit applications by fax, e-mail, internet or other electronic means.
All information, documentation and materials required in the application form must be provided, and these must be copies as originals cannot be copied and returned.
Application forms are available from College receptions.
Free College Meals
If you were entitled to free school meals at school or you or your parent/carer are on certain benefits, then you may be eligible for help with meals whilst you are at college.
You can apply for Free College Meals using the Bursary process above.
Discretionary Hardship Fund
This may be available to learners who attend the college. To find out more and to see if you qualify, please contact the advice and guidance team.
