Study at one of London’s leading colleges for adults
Kensington and Chelsea College offers a wide range of courses and extensive support services for those coming to education as an adult learner.
Whether you are looking for a professional development qualification, a career change, progression to university, or want to enhance your skills by learning something new, we have a course to suit you. At both our centres you will find a large community of adult learners, with a supportive atmosphere and staff dedicated to helping you get the most from your learning.
What type of courses does KCC offer?
Our courses come in a range of learning styles to fit around your work and home life. We offer part-time, full-time and evening courses, as well as short courses, workshops and summer schools. Many courses lead to qualifications, valuable for your career ambitions. For adults whose first language is not English, we have ESOL courses at all levels. And if you want to learn for pleasure or develop skills for a hobby, a range of leisure and community learning opportunities are also available.
Covering the costs of study
Learning is always an investment in your life and future. To help you make that investment, there is financial support for adult learners available through the College. This includes the Advanced Learning Loan. Advanced Learning Loans are easy to apply for and you don’t need to start paying anything back until you are earning £25,250 or over. If you enrol on an Access course and then progress to university to complete your degree, your Advanced Learning Loan will be written off. Full details are available from the link above.
Supporting you to success
We recognise that returning to education is exciting but can be daunting and we have a range of services in place to support you including a nursery, advice and guidance, study skills and careers information. Our advice and guidance staff are skilled in helping adults to choose the right course to fit their skills and aspirations. Whether you want to top up your skills with a part-time course whilst working, or make a complete change in career direction on a full-time programme, we will be able to give you confidential and impartial advice.
