This course runs over 2 days per week – Monday’s and Tuesday’s from 10am till 4pm
(3 – 4 days for students who are under 19.)
For those who want a specialist hands on course in glass this programme covers a variety of techniques.
This course is taught by industry practitioners. The course will teach highly specialist practical skills and knowledge for 3-Dimensional design.
Alongside studio practice this course covers general art and design principles, history of design, drawing skills and colour theory. These contextual elements will enable students to develop and stretch own individual creative expression.
Course activities include museum and gallery visits, liaison with trade and industry and exploration into the context of contemporary art and design practice in the 21st century. Using these experiences students will access a relevant network and produce a portfolio of design work to prepare them for the next level of study or work.
