Under 19

At KCC, we want you to feel inspired both inside and outside of the classroom! Kensington and Chelsea College has lots of fantastic resources and support networks in place to help you settle into college life, make friends and discover new and exciting opportunities. Students choose us because we provide a range of specialist courses, taught in excellent facilities by experienced and supportive lecturers. Our students have high success rates and at Level 3 (A Level equivalent) there is a high rate of progression on to good university places. The College also offers its own HE courses.

All our study programmes for under-19s are free.

Each year our students go on to achieve big things. Over the past year we have had students setting up their own businesses, selling their designs to major brands, winning awards, taking part in public exhibitions progressing to leading universities.

All our under-19 students have a personal tutor to monitor and support progress in learning. We also provide full support to students who need extra help in any aspect of their studies, for example to dyslexic students. When it comes to completing university applications, we will help you prepare and submit your UCAS entry.

Our youth work team provides a programme of activities and services throughout the year for our students aged under 19 years. Some of the extracurricular opportunities on offer include organised trips such as skiing and paintballing; cultural awareness events; volunteering opportunities within the community; applying for scholarships and awards; and opportunities to get involved in sports.

The youth work team also offer a specific under 19 support service and additional training programmes to help build personal skills and confidence, and raise awareness of social and health issues.
